Culture Check™ is HumanBranding’s ongoing global research initiative in which we investigate the impact of cultural shifts on generational cohorts through our anthropological lens (through a unique blend of dozens of in-depth ethnographic interviews, hundreds of hours of academic research, and on-going global trend spotting).

 

Series 1: Impacts of COVID-19 on Generation Alpha

We have spoken with children from this generation and their parents to gain first-hand insights into the thoughts and experiences that are unique to this generational cohort. As children of Millennials, Generation Alpha are the demographic cohort born starting in 2010.

What happens when one of our basic human needs is hindered? With widespread lock-downs and physical distancing protocols being implemented globally, it is becoming clear that despite the dangerous, lurking threat that is COVID-19, it is the changes to our social behavior that have been the most deeply felt among people, especially young children.
