Research Analyst

Job Summary

The role of the Research Analyst at Human Branding is to support project teams across all aspects of qualitative market research projects, including all administrative project set up, desk research, analysis, and contributions to debrief writing and proposals.

Research Analysts must be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial fast paced environment and able to verbalize their point of view, as well as like working on a team and in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Expresses and transmits information with consistency, clarity, and confidence

· Ability to communicate with ease both in written and verbal form.

· Demonstrates active listening techniques in order to understand priorities and important take aways

· Meets all project timelines

· Ability to prioritize work flow to meet project deliverables

· Issues internal weekly project updates

· Updates WIP (work in progress) schedules weekly

· Executes and maintains key project dates in WIP calendar

· Attends and contributes to internal project kick off meetings

· Ensures research schedules are current and updated as required

· Internally leads discreet project tasks

· Set up of WATIs and focus vision platforms

· Responsible for the organization, communication, and distribution of all fieldwork materials including: stimuli, discussion guides and consent forms

· Responsible for organization and communication of client attendance and strategist logistics (car service) for ethnographic research

· Updates the project tracker and flagging issues and concerns to project lead

· Highlights recruiting requirements to Senior Project Manager

· Manages and monitors AE reporting, compliance tracking (consent forms) and online method privacy monitoring

· Ensures consolidation and cleaning of all project files are on Dropbox as part of the project close process

· Understands client expectations and ensures project timelines are met

· Within In-Facility back room, builds client relationships that instill confidence and trust

· Analyzes and summarizes existing client research

· Prepares cheat sheets on therapeutic areas/categories and competitive brands

· With a brief, analyzes and summarizes social culture and trend dynamics

· Responsible for fieldwork and internal note taking

· With guidance, performs analysis and identifies themes and patterns from fieldwork

· Ability to contribute to discussion guides

· Familiarity with projective techniques

· With briefing, assist with visualization of slides

· Review debriefs and other client facing documents for formatting, spelling, and grammar

· Creates specific slides within a proposal

· Creates straight forward credential decks

Requirements

· Post-Secondary/Graduate Degree in social sciences, business, or marketing

· 0 – 2 years’ experience, Market Research an asset

· Full time office-based position

Strategist

Job Summary

The role of the Strategist at Human Branding is to provide strategic leadership across all aspects of qualitative market research projects, including project set up, discussion guide development, moderating, debrief writing, and client presentation through to project close. The Strategist works to identify culturally fueled, profoundly rich and deep human behavioural insights to drive strategic solutions.

Strategists must be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial fast paced environment and able to verbalize their point of view, as well as like working on a team and in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Expresses and transmits information with consistency, clarity, and confidence

· Ability to communicate with ease both in written and verbal form

· Demonstrates active listening techniques in order to effectively understand, interpret outcomes, and formulate next steps

· Can read a room and understand implications

· Delivers prepared presentations to clients, presents ideas in a compelling way and answers straight forward questions

· Effectively runs projects within timelines

· Ability to prioritize work flow to meet project deliverables

· Leads less complex projects

· Acts as day to day primary point of contact with clients

· Ability to lead internal project kick off meetings

· Accountable for keeping project tracker up to date and approve invoices if project lead

· Manages and highlights recruiting requirements to Senior Project Manager

· Understands and manages client expectations and ensures they are met through execution and deliverables

· Proactively manages client needs without client or Senior Management prompting

· Actively problem solves to overcome challenges and develops win/win solutions for client and Human Branding

Resource Manager (Up to 18-Month Contract Role)

Job Summary

The role of the Resource Manager at Human Branding is to work with project teams providing organizational, resourcing, and communication support as well as supporting Business Development activities and other Operational activities (e.g. MSAs, Compliance, etc.)

Resource Managers must be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial fast paced environment and able to verbalize their point of view, as well as like working on a team and in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

·  Expresses and transmits information with consistency, clarity, and confidence

·  Ability to communicate with ease both in written and verbal form

·  Demonstrates active listening techniques in order to understand priorities and important takeaways

·  Ability to prioritize work flow to meet deliverables

·  Launches open/close project worksheets during the project cycle

·  Assesses time and need to book WIP (Work In Progress) meetings

·  Ensures note-taking in all WIP meetings

·  Updates WIP document on a weekly basis

·  Distributes WIP meeting notes and WIP document to the team for action, in a timely manner

·  Internally leads discreet project tasks, e.g. tracking and reporting of all projects

·  Ensures project win, loss, and null tracker updated in a timely manner

·  Updates and maintains client contact cards

·  Manages and monitors AE (Adverse Events) reporting, compliance training, and follows up with the team when required

·  Ensures consolidation and cleaning of all project files on Dropbox, as part of the project close process

·  Ensures all project documents are housed in Dropbox and submits a request to IT for archiving

·  Highlights project resourcing requirements and issues to management

·  Provides project resourcing recommendations

·  Shares relevant project information with  the team

·  Keeps credential decks, team biographies and client quotes up to date

·  Is able to execute ad-hoc requests in a timely manner

·  Resources ad-hoc requests outside of WIP meetings

·  Keeps and tracks MSA (Master Service Agreement) requirements by client

·  Monitors client MSA expiry dates and flags to management

·  Updates management of upcoming conferences and registers Human Branding with management approval

·  Updates and maintains master and team member BD (Business Development) tracking reports

·  Schedules and leads partners and Director’s BD (Business Development) meetings

·  Extracts and gathers email information to update partners business development meetings and trips

·  Coordinates and confirms Business Development meetings with clients and their admin. Staff in a timely manner

·  Responsible for sending calendar invites for client meetings

·  Acts as day to day point of contact for business development purposes with clients and media, (e.g. journalists ,conference co-ordinators)

· Orders office food for both staff and business partners on a weekly basis

· Stocks Partners office with dishes, cutlery, etc.

· On an as needed basis, supports Senior Operations Manager in office administration tasks

Requirements

·  Post-Secondary Degree  

·  0 – 2 years’ Project Management/Administrative Support
